Karissa Allgood is a Dance Educator, Performer, and Choreographer from the state of Utah. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education from Brigham Young University.
While working toward her degree, Mrs. Allgood had the opportunity to perform as both a choreographer and performer on the BYU Dance Ensemble and BYU Kinnect Dance Companies.
In 2015, Mrs. Allgood traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark to present a collection of dance works at Dance and the Child International Dance Convention (daCi). Mrs. Allgood has received the Outstanding Choreography Award from the Utah State Dance Festival as well as Regional Outstanding Dancer from New York City Dance Alliance.
Growing up, Mrs. Allgood did most of her training at a nationally renowned dance studio known as The Dance Club in Orem, Utah. She continues to give back to her community by teaching at local dance studios and public schools and has choreographed statewide award-winning dance solos and group routines.
