Miss Wilson's Bio

Hello! My name is Miss Wilson.
I grew up in Michigan about an hour away from Detroit. Shortly, before high school my family moved to New Jersey. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the area and playing the clarinet in the marching band.
I originally got a Bachelors degree in Psychology and realized I loved working with teenagers. I started volunteering in a high school, I particularly helped with the math classes. I fell in love with teaching. Shortly after that experience, I moved to Utah, started talking Math classes at the University of Utah to teach math, and am ready to finish going through the ARL program. I taught math for two years at Paradigm High School prior to working for summit.
My favorite things to do are hiking, reading, playing card or board games, and spending time with friends.

Quiz Delayed for A Day Classes

Because my students did MAP testing today and have not had the opportunity to review the homework yet, the quiz for this friday will be pushed back to Monday of next week.

Message for my A-day classes only:

I just wanted to send out a reminder that we will be having a quiz on integers this Friday. They need to know what absolute value is, find absolute, graph positive/negative numbers on a number line, and add positive and negative numbers together using a number line.

Regular assignments due

Homework Assignments are due on a weekly basis. All assignments are due the first class of the next week. Quizzes and Tests are every Friday. The only exception will be the week of parent/teacher conference where we will have a test on Wednesday Sep. 21st for A day classes. I will regularly update due dates for assignments, quizzes, and tests.
