Welcome to my home page!

For the past three years, I have been fortunate to teach at Summit Academy in the 6th grade. Each year brings exciting new discussions, students, and relationships. I have a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. I bleed blue, but not BYU blue. Go USU! My children attend Providence Hall, so you may see me running from sideline to sideline or bleacher to bleacher during sporting events. We have two dogs (Shar-pei's) and three cats that usually show up in some form in our discussions. Some of my favorite things are Dr. Pepper, camping, visiting the beach, and reading a book every chance I get.

I enjoy having fun while learning. Rita Pierson's TED Talk, "Every Kid Needs a Champion", is an inspiration to me. I aspire to be as great an educator as she was to her students and other educators. You can watch her talk here: TED Talks: Rita Pierson: Every Kid Needs a Champion

If you ever have questions or concerns or just want to say "hi", please send me a message! I love hearing from students (current, past, and future), parents, and friends.

Make it a great day!
Ms. Barlow
