All About Mr. Ward
This my twelfth year of teaching and my third year of teaching at Summit Academy. My first nine years of teaching were spent in California, teaching earth science, chemistry, physics, and math. I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, and took courses Brigham Young University, University of Delaware, University of Arizona, and Cal State Long Beach as part of my educational training. I have a master's degree in Geology from BYU and worked for several years in environmental and geotechnical consulting. My wife Sarah and I have been married since 2005. We have eight children in our family, ages 2 to 21. I enjoy camping, gardening, running, piano, and . . . teaching!
